This one bothers me a bit only because I know I won't see one like this again. But, I have needs and that includes other expensive hobbies and work and life. This one is personal to me, so if someone doesn't like, I'll likely take it personally.
Kiyoshi Kato nakiri. Kurouchi (KU) finish, White 2. Rare (IMO) workhorse (WH) model. Never used. Bevels fully flattened and lightly polished by Andrew/Forty Knives. It's been in storage for a while, so could use some fingerstone touch ups or someone to play with it on a nice Suita. Custom handle and saya from Graydon. Hand is Snakewood with Moukume bolster (gorgeous) and saya is a class-act piece of Western Walnut. Really thick out of the spine (see photos) but nice forged taper.
Asking $1750 CONUS, $1800 Int'l. Not looking for trades unless someone has a Takada Reika in 240 or 270, or a Suiboku Hanabi in 270, or a Takada 300mm suji of some variety they'd put towards it. As always, feel free to ping me with questions.
