Two recent pickups and an older WTS listing. All prices are shipped CONUS, happy to send to other US/Canada for a little extra. Also happy to mix these into a package trade with either of the knives at my WTT listing here: WTT - Konosuke Fujiyama blue 2 #6 cleaver, Dalman x Birgersson 240 gyuto
Hatsukokoro Komorebi 240mm Blue #2 Kasumi gyuto - SOLD
Impulse bought from Tosho's recent 40% off sale, which sold out... rightly so, because this is a lot of knife for your dollar. 250mm edge length, 54.5mm heel, 242g. Roughly 4mm out of handle, 3mm over heel, 1.8mm midblade, ~0.6mm 10mm from tip. Balance point is about 15mm ahead of heel. Really nice blonde horn/ebony handle that's just a little bigger than I prefer. Minus the beginnings of a little patina it's like new--used to dice one bell pepper and one onion, never stropped or sharpened, just didn't click for me. I paid $298 (reduced from I think $460 full price), asking $300 PayPal G&S or $290 via fee-free alternatives.
Kagekiyo 240mm Ginsan hamaguri gyuto
Purchased from @labor of love last month. Unlike the older Kagekiyos, this one has Myojin's awesome convex grind and a nicely champfered choil/spine. If you've ever wanted a stainless FM in a nice easy-to-sharpen stainless, this is probably one of the closest matches out there. 232mm edge length, 49.5mm heel, 171g. Roughly 3mm over heel, 2.3mm midblade, ~0.8mm 10mm from tip. Comes with a textured walnut handle that tostadas aptly described as "ribbed for pleasure" plus a nicely fitting saya. Sharpened once or twice by me; also note there's some light scuffs from storage and a small rough spot on the spine near the tip. I feel like a moron selling this, but it sits right between my Kono MM and Kipp WP... nuff said? I paid $300 and am asking $300 PayPal G&S or $290 via fee-free alternatives.
A.G Klint 185mm 14c28n gyuto
Consolidated from a previous WTS. 185mm edge, 47mm heel, 148g. Handle is a lovely hidden tang western in birch burl with a hammered brass endcap. Got this direct from Aidan in my search for the perfect small gyuto. It hits so many boxes and is a great cutter but the high tip (kinda Masashi-esque) doesn't work for me. This one has a pretty excellent high grind, kinda reminiscent of Yoshi but with a touch of convexity. Beefy spine with some serious taper in the last 4-5cm, from >4mm at the heel to ~0.75mm at 10mm from tip. Touched up once on a SP2k. If this is your profile it's an awesome blade for the price. I paid $280 and am asking $230 PayPal G&S or $220 via fee-free alternatives.
