In the village where I live, about 300 Meters from my house or a 4 minute walk is Maison Cazes, a winery.
inside they have wine tasting, a boutique and their restaurant, La Table d'Aimé
I first went to their restaurant last September when I was looking at my house prior to purchasing.
We went for dinner again last night.
A small place with a prix fixe menu and maybe 10 tables.
Pierre I guess would be the maitre d, speaks excellent English as he worked in Atlanta.
In the parking lot I saw my possible future motorcycle, an FB Mondial.
We were seated and ordered and I asked Pierre if that FB was his motorcycle.
He said no, it is the chefs. I asked Pierre if he could introduce me and if the chef spoke English.
So after dinner, the chef Anata came out and we talked.
We spoke about the motorcycle, and then I told him I'm a knifemaker.
Anata became excited, invited us back into the kitchen and we talked knives.
He showed me his kit and we had a nice conversation
Anata is leaving to open his own place
