Hello everyone,

Is there a list of good vendors in Germany or the rest of the EU somewhere in the forum? I'm talking about shops that have knowledgeable people that can recommend knives, know how to sharpen, etc. - stores that don't just buy and sell items.

If there isn't, please share all of them I should know.

So far I know that

cleancut.eu
meesterslijpers.nl japanesenaturalstones.com

have very knowledgeable owners/employees and are very helpful.

knivesandtools.de

is also a good store, but I don't know yet if there are people there who can give as much advice as the the owners mentioned above, and I don't know if they are willing to select items for you and finish them, etc.

There are so many stores in Germany and the EU that I'm a bit overwhelmed.

Which are the ones that I should know of?

Stores with some exceptional value products at the lower end especially, a knowledgeable customer service, and that will select a good copy of the product I order and possibly do some work on it before they send it?

Thanks a lot!

Peter from Modern Cooking is really passionate and knowledgable about knives.
Dictum is just okay, their sharpening is mediocre.
Mr Horie from Japan-Messer-Shop also does a good job.
Karasu is good.
Lucas from Knife-Arts is a nice guy. His knowledge is alright but I think he isn't as knowledgable as he thinks he is.
Meestersleijpers is a good shop imo.
Cleancut is good.
Tetogi are great and know how to sharpen.
Chef's corner has solid prices.
Japaneseknives.eu are good
There are also shops like hamono.nl, couteauxduchef
