Hi guys,
just for the fun of it I am looking for gyutos from Western makers. I won't list names for now, and if you have smth interesting from a Japanese maker, let me know, too. For the past few months I have had more interest in Western makers though, but hey, never say never...
I have the following knives available for trade:
- Mazaki Migaki 180 wa-petty, W#2 core, keyaki and horn
- Mazaki KU 270 wa-gyuto, W#2 core, ho and horn
- Ryusen Blazen 240 Western gyuto, SG2, Western
- Ryusen Blazen 270 Western gyuto, SG2, Western
- Kochi Migaki 240 wa-gyuto, W#2 core, burnt chestnut and horn; dimensions are 239/51/205g/4.3mm at the handle/3.9mm at the heel, only a decent distal taper;
-Masamoto KS 240 wa-gyuto, W#2 monosteel, ho and horn, saya included
- Catcheside 235 wa-gyuto, O1 monosteel at ~61 HRC, handle in wild almond and blackwood, leather saya included; dimensions are 235/50/258g/4.4mm at the handle/4.3mm at the heel, good distal taper too;
-Moki Blakiston‘s Fish Owl folding knives in small and standard
- Ashi Hamono 180 wa-petty, W#2, ho and horn
- Robin Dalman Kiridashi, forged nimai silversteel
