Lump in felt strop

So I have a wonderfull felt strop from marko and it's been awesome with his diamond spray. I don't know how i did it but I either balked on a spray or flung some water on it somehow I'm thinking. I now have a very noticeable lump on one end and don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can iron it (put a dish towel between the iron & the strop) or I have also sliced small lumps off of mine before

I had a similar issue--ironing was an easy fix.

Both methods above have worked for me.

I've laid a yanagi backside down and sliced off a lump before. Worked great.

Great. I have the same issue. Will try ironing.
