Maruka kiita with some nashiji and namazu. These are excellent fine finishing stones and this one is relatively soft and very fast - great for knives. Leaves insanely fine yet bitey edges and great for final polishing. Stamp is faded. Won’t mirror, but leaves a very bright kasumi.

Let’s call it $650 on this one.

Beautiful, silvery, detailed kasumi with ease. You can refine, refine, and refine and it will never turn mirror just brighter and more detail kasumi. Soft and fine finishers are great because of how easy they are to use compared to their harder counterparts.

This one reminds me quite a lot on the Maruka kiita I sold here recently and I REALLY wonder that nobody jumped on it so far! Should I choose one stone of the all you have here for sale, it would definitely be this one, I am pretty sure it is a real joy to use!

Very, very similar to the narutaki you sold me as well. But slightly finer and harder - slightly. Great stone, but I’ve bought too many good stones recently and can’t keep them all

Yeah, I think I can imagine from the pictures of the finish and from your decription pretty well how it performs and feels and also that you must have something even better (if that is possible) or equally performing, just nicer/larger/more unique...Because for 99% of people, this one would be a keeper
