I'm curious what's going on here as well? Last I recall old stock KS 240s were going for less than $400. Not trying to blow anybody up here, just curious if this one being offered here is any different then the ones offered a few months ago as old/ original stock.

Things just looking a little crazy here on bst today...

There is another thread here on KKF specifically talked about the Masamoto KS and discussed about the hype.
$400 will be a good buy, but I don't think $500 for old stock(depends on condition) is unreasonable base on today's market.

I am little confused with the trade value double the sale value. Should it be the other way around?

If i recall right. New one has laser engraved kanji, old one has stamped. Grind differs a Little bit. And f&f on old old ones Little better.
These are If i remember correctly.
