Hi all,

Putting this up for sale as I have a heavier workhorse version of this knife that I would like to keep.

Wasn’t sure if the workhorse referenced above was actually being made for me, so another member let me purchase his Merion as a backup.


Steel: - 1.2562 core w/ twisted Nickle Damascus

Size: 260 x 60mm

Handle: ironwood w/ g10 spacer and corian

Weight: 277-280g (multiple readings)

Taper: 4.8 @ handle, 1.9 @ halfway, 0.7 @1cm

I’m the second owner, both of us have used it in home settings only. I’ve done one full sharpening on it (400, 1000, 2000, Natsuya, Tajima, Suita)

Home use for me has been 10-12 meal preps for the family, mostly vegetarian household.

Measurements are still accurate by calipers (heel height 59.8 to 60.0)

Nick let me cut with this one. It cuts with authority. Between the weight and the well executed grind, it glides through product. I should also add that Nick is a great seller who cares meticulously for his collection.
