I bought these two as an economical way to try out some MagnaCut. Both knives are in excellent condition: just used for a couple of rounds of test cuts (not even a full meal). Never sharpened or stropped.
The tips are these (especially the petty) are exceptionally thin, so I'll be sending them out in ABS/felt edge guards with a couple extra layers of cardboard for extra rigidity.
Note the simple handle installation method that Matt used for this line of knives as pictured.
