I love this stone

Muddy, fast, fine, shallow scratches, velvety and smooth

Unusual for an aoto to be fine and muddy. It's hard to get this combo. Around 3k grit. Very consistent too. . . The seams are very narrow and minor and I don't feel any sand. Not the finest finest aoto, there are some that go 5k or even 8k. But fine as a medium grit stone, as opposed to a finisher. Still some streaking on iron though, deeper scratches

(Edit: I noticed some sand inclusion that appeared and went away quickly at a seam so I must say be aware that it may occur again)

Thirsty stone for the first couple seconds but settles down after a mud is worked up

Slurry pictures are wide bevel sharpeneing after 15 seconds.
