My moms kitchen knife.

I’m visiting my mom. She is a senior, so she doesn’t do much heavy lifting in the kitchen anymore. Most of her cleavers and other kitchen knives are dull or missing from my siblings’ raids.

She does use this one “paring” knife. It was a bonafide butter knife. Dull! All I had is a DMT travel diamond hone. But I got it done. This crazy ancient knife is a straight razor.

It’s pretty cool. Very comfortable probably very good spreading peanut butter option as well. Haha.

My mom thinks it’s from some Hing Kong alley shop.

I was going to say it looks like one I bought in a main land China wet market a few years back. Don't use it too much but when I want a straight edge its there.
