Hey yall, been picking up a ton of different Nakayama from different sources in hopes to test and see who's got the goods!
I the case of these 2 stones, they come from plane craftsman Tsunesaburo San in Miki City. These stones are serial numbered and tested by him before being stamped and released.
both stones are razor size with plenty of surface area and are knife friendly but will excell on razors/tools as well.
Harder stone will post separately.
Stone#1
Nakayama kiita nashiji
LV 3.5
Fine: 4-4.5
Price: $325
Size: 155×85×20
Serial # 12070
This stone is perfectly rectangular with nashiji adorning the entire surface of the stone. It's soft for Nakayama kiita which is much more rare. Easy going and buttery feedback while still cutting very fast. Kasumi is hazy cladding and bright near mirror core steel.
For razors, this stone is stupid easy and produced a great smooth shave for me.
Not much to say but softer kiita nashiji are hard to find nowadays.
