Hello to all, from the metropolis of Portage, PA! I'm 62, retired, and a pretty avid cook. While my food generally tastes great, I am a slooowww cook! But I'm retired, so I'm in no hurry... Here are my most used knives in my kitchen:
Best knife: Messermeister Park Plaza - Solingen, Germany
Everyday go to knife: Dexter Russell 10" Chef's Knife - USA
Most Used knife: Victorinox Pairing Knife - Swiss made
Family Heirloom: Geneva Tempered 7"x1" very thin blade - USA Probably at least 75 years old. Great for tomatoes.
Stone: Unimi 7"x2.5" 600/1000 reversible whetstone.
