Long time fan of fine kitchen knives. Started with widely available German knives and quickly fell in love with japanese knives (tried a Global). Recently added a Miyabi chef’s knife. Looking to learn more about the hobby from you experts!

Welcome to the forum. I own Global knives (G-2 and G-3). It's a good knife for everyday prep or home use. It has a convex edge and sometimes people have trouble sharpening it on a flat whetstone.
