SOLD Nihei KU W#2 210 gyuto

Next up in my pay for my new Konosuke sale.
This is a Nihei 210 K-tip gyuto from CKC. Incredibly nice sanjo knife. Nihei, like Masashi, does not get nearly the respect he deserves! He has become my favorite sanjo smith very quickly. I bought this W#2 for the amazing KU and the profile, Nihei’s profile is like a yoshikane that cuts smoother, has no hard stop, and has a more convex grind, a little less ghosting and a little more smooth feel. If you have used a Konosuke Sumiiro this is almost identical, but perhaps slightly thinner. Knife is literally 2 days old, I ordered its replacement the day after I received it( it was not planned)! Has the nicest burnt chestnut handle I have seen, specs align with the CKC description, but mine is on the heavier side. Has the very beginning of a patina forming, only cut an onion, a shallot, a bell pepper, and some cherry tomatoes.
