Let’s get it out of the way, the stone isn’t ideal… it’s hard, glassy, reactive and leaves more hairline scratches than you’d like. It also sometimes likes to turn flakey and is sealed quite poorly on the bottom. On the other hand, look at it.

Little bit of additional context - stone is still usable. With a forced slurry or fresh diamond plate scratches it cuts quickly and leaves great edges and does a good job laying down a very usable base polish. So it is still a usable stone.
