I got two knives, one is a deba and the other is a usuba. Both have the same kanji, fairly used and old, don't know who the maker is.

Would anyone know the kanji ?

All your help is much appreciated.

源 康光
Here is the kanji but I don't know the reading for it. Probably
last name: Minamoto (源)
first name: ____ (康光) which I would guess is probably an obscure older reading
You can find several knives with this stamp on auction sites to get an idea of its value

After researching a bit more, I come across the name minamoto yoshimitsu.

Never heard of such a maker before hand.
Either way it's a nice addition to the collection and I only paid half the amount seen on the auction pages.

Thanks for your help!
