Masashi Yamamoto from Knifewear Used once, touched up once. Usage: cuts like a dream despised their specs. Only used on vegetables such as carrots, potatoes and celery. Pleasant cutting feels. Feels nice on cutting board. Touch-up: Touched up on Shapton Glass 4k, the way it feels on the 4k, I'd say they're something different than what most are used to. Masashi is a wizard on this VS1, from what I read on Knifewear: "Fun fact, it is also known as VGin-1, Gin translates to Silver, so that is how we get VS1! The more you know!

This steel is also known as: Chromax Semi-Stainless Steel, SKD12 Semi-Stainless Steel
"

Looking to sell for $320 $275 $250USD PayPal and Ship included in the CONUS. Only US shipping at this time.

This is a fantastic knife and I echo OPs sentiment that Masashi is a VS1 wizard. He's a HT wizard really, he's great at massaging the metals to higher hardness without sacrificing chippiness/brittlesness much at all. He doesn't do carbon too often, but he's got a line coming in a year or two in Shiro 2 I think.
