I am selling off my natural sharpening stone collection. Stones were bought by me between 2010 and 2018.
SPF Nakayama Karasu with Maruka mark, 208 x 76 x 41mm, 1510 gm, asking $1750 $1500 $1200 $1000 including Continental USA shipping.
Next on the list is this wonderful Nakayama Karasu. I bought this from KKF member Brooksie967 in 2017 or so. He called it a solid Level 4 knife finisher and I agree. It does well with a slurry raised with a Suita or harder tomo nagura. Very buttery feedback if not too dry.
I have always laughed at the previous owners term for the edges created by this stone- "Excalibur meets chainsaw"
The stone will be carefully packaged to make sure it arrives safely, as are all stones and other objects I sell.
