Hi everyone. I am consolidating my collection. First up on the block is this Kurosaki 270mm Mirror Polish R2 Gyuto. One of a kind purpleheart handle with pakka ferrule. Matching purpleheart urushi(Japanese lacqueur) saya. I had this saya personally signed in person by Kurosaki san at an event in Portland, OR where the knife was originally purchased. Both the handle and saya came straight from the Kurosaki workshop in Japan already attached to the blade. The knife was used only a couple times to test the edge. Never sharpened. Comes with original box. Would love to find this knife a good home.
