This could be made to work in the conus if you’re comfortable with some mild workarounds. I also say this as an electrician so take that fwiw. I understand that electrical stuff can be intimidating.

I believe you made a price description mistake. The Proxxon retails for 224€ in Spain. You must have gotten a sweet deal if you did buy it for 23€!
