I bought this wanting to try it for slicing, I decided I’m more of a Suji guy I think. This is a neat knife though, loads of personality and everything else Raquin blades bring to the table.

I’m asking 460.00, I paid that plus shipping new. Shipped priority Conus.

I’m thrilled to have it ... another prized member of my family. What monstrous chunk of protein am I going to cook to welcome it to the family?

congrats, that's an awesome blade! i would slow roast (or better yet, smoke) a full rack of beef short ribs and then perfectly separate them with your 280mm Short Rib Killer. then sell it to me.

That’s a perfect choice ... a rack of beef long ribs done very low and slow on my big Green Egg. Now I have to get my butcher to give me the full beef ribs ... dinosaur bones! I just wish I had a gang of KKF members to share it with. My motto is the only veggies that get served with my BBQ are the pickles for a garnish.

So I had two big slicers. The Raquin and a Radar. I flipped a coin to see which one got cut. The Raquin lost the coin flip. I’m more of a Suji guy but these are such cool blades I had to keep one for the Holidays. I would have been content with either one. I’ll take a better pic and post it. 300 mm of 10,000 layer Damascus. I may regret not hanging onto both of them though. I know it’s going to a good home though! That’s them side by side.
