Never thought I'd be doing this but have my eyes on something and want to change it up a bit. This is my only custom knife aside from my 240x55 ashi honyaki that I special ordered years ago.

Knife measures 270x57 (only 1mm in height difference from when I got it) and is Joe's famous wrought iron over Hitachi blue 1.

I believe Joe has only ever made one or two other 270mm gyutos which makes this a rare beast.
Handle is stabilized amboyna burl and oosik.
