I am selling a used once but like new RDG titanium offset spatula in Mun Ebony. I recall that the single use was to scoop up some seared scallops and plate them. It was hand washed and dried after.

It is #2 from this post by @Illyria

I have attached photos of what it looks like today. This is a handmade tool and there are some very minor visual imperfections that I want to draw your attention to.

1. Three distinct scratches on the blade, present from new:
  • one on the back side, horizontal, near the tip
  • one on the back side, diagonal, on the lower third near where the offset bend begins
  • one on the back side, on the offset portion, diagonal, near the scales.
2. To my eye, the blade is slightly offset laterally to the left as you look at the front, and (as you would expect) to the right as you look at the back. It’s subtle, but it’s there, and since I saw it, I want you to be aware. I took a couple photos to illustrate this: with the left blade edge flat against a surface, there is no gap between the butt of the scales and that surface. With the right blade edge flat against that same surface, there’s about 1/8” gap. This in no way affects the utility or function of the spatula.

3. Minor, very light random pattern scratches on the blade here and there.

It is a lovely spatula. I am selling because I got a different RDG titanium spatula in Desert Ironwood, and I prefer the look of the ironwood over the ebony, and having two just doesn’t make any sense.

I paid $125 shipped CONUS, and that’s what I’m asking, I am asking $100 shipped CONUS PP G&S. Happy to ship internationally but the buyer would need to cover that entire cost.
