White steel. Not sure if 1 or 2 but feels like 2. From Ikkyu Japan, who told me this is the house brand of one of a deceased knife industry craftsman in Sakai, and that craftsmans wife is selling the remaining stock.

302 g
53mm tall
231mm machi to tip
213mm edge length

Spine
5.7mm at neck
4.2mm halfway to tip
2.5mm shinogi ridge at tip

Profile inconsistency with bumps and recurve and small sub .5mm bends, so mostly straight. Its sharpenable and usable, but I don't like to straighten usuba. . . The edge is thin and liable to crack. Pitting marks on the ura. Handle burn in marks too, which I can remove. I tried flattening the bevel but didn't finish.
The blade seems to have lacquer on it
