Stainless clad White #2 by Y Tanaka (Strata)
Edge: 214mm
Height at Heel: 52mm
Spine at Heel: 3.0mm
Weight: 212g
Balance between heel and first kanji

One of these recently sold on BST and I echo the description here:

"Pretty solid Sakai midweight with a righty-bias grind that isn't too flat on the back side (so no stickage). Profile is a pretty subtle continuous curve"

I will add that stainless Y Tanaka blades are the best of both worlds - low maintenance and legendary heat treat. I was extremely surprised/ impressed at the distill taper and how this performed on horizontal cuts on an onion.
I have the B1 Petty Yugiri and it has been my go to knife so far. This Asagiri has never been sharpened and used maybe less than 5 times. Just looking for more variety :)

Asking $315 $290 CONUS
