ever thought I’d be selling this, but here we are. Ive had this knife for about 5-6 years, original owner. It has been touched up around 7-10 times on finishers, dropped down to around 1k maybe twice. Never been thinned. Great food release, and ime, the western handled Shigs are a little bit thinner so they move through food more effortlessly than the wa handled ones. Im a home user and this has been used and loved over the years and developed alot of patina which I have removed but it can be brought up more by someone more skilled than me. I had it rehandled right after I got it and I thought the lining was a little sloppy, but it has held up well over the years with no issue. During the rehandle process, the integral bolster was dented a bit and I had Jon refinish the bolster for me, but I forgot which side it was. Measures about 218x47. Comes with a saya thats pretty stained and wooden box. Price is $2650 shipped in the US insured, intl ill cover the first $25 of insured shipping.
