Hey yall, here's a nice, affordable shobu suita that's extremely nice. The reason for it being affordable is that it's 100 size. It may be smaller but it's a great quality stone that yields wonderful results. The stone is stamped on the side still.
It's a clean suita with bits of renge throughout. It's a fast cutting stone with firm base but self slurries nicely. It has a wonderful, creamy sharpening feel that's very smooth.
Edges are nicely polished with good tooth/bite and Kasumi is bright, hazy with great contrast. It leaves the jigane a nice darker shade.
