Anyone tried one of those overlong stone holder doubling up as sink bridge? Are these thing in that long a format sturdy enough that they will not flex when applying pressure - ergo thinning. Is there give with the metal rods?

Yeah I saw the one browsing Amazon Ca. Could actually be a better option. Do you concur with maximum stone length being 9 1/4?

Yeah. Roughly. It fits a chosera stone with its base, and I just use that to put my other stones on with a towel underneath for quick switching.

Like so

I should add that a chosera is about the max you can fit on it. There is a little room to spare, but not a ton.

I just built one for myself out of some scrap 2x4 and 1x4 I had laying aeoumd in the garage.

Throw down some of that mesh shelf liner and the stone won’t go anywhere.
