We have Janice friend coming from Washington State. Good time to clean house. Have beautiful lamp in the guest room. I cherry picked Chinese stained glass lamps early 2,000's. Still have 5 shades they get dusty found best way to clean is set them in the grass all shades have uneven base designs. Spray from garden hose takes off all the dust let then sun dry do all 5 at once. Two shades put on art noveau bases. My favorite downstairs my room. Auguste Moreau French sculpture. She gets dusty too. This piece from 1890's. The glass is Chinese copy of Tiffany dragonfly shade.
It goes well with the antique base. I used modern wiring & horizontal sockets from Chinese lamp. Did away with pull chains for cleaner look.
