(This is my first BST post, so if I'm doing it wrong, please correct me!)

I'm not a collector; I was gifted this knife (purchased from JCK) at the start of my journey into serious knife stuff, and I originally never used it because I thought I wasn't ready for a knife that was both carbon and also larger than what I was used to. At this point, I'm not afraid of carbon and I have a better sense of what I like, which is (still) not that large and not that heavy. So instead of sitting in my closet, I think I should let it find another home. It's completely untouched—never used, never sharpened or stropped.

Model: Shirou-Kunimitsu Gyuto Kurochi
Steel: White #2
Length: 242mm
Height at heel: 52mm
Spine thickness at heel: c. 3mm (I don't have calipers)
Weight: 244g
Handle: Stabilized maple burl wa handle, purple, with water buffalo ferrule

Asking $375 $350 $325 $300 $275 shipped in CONUS.

Someone gently pointed out in DMs that JCK has the current version of this on sale, to the point where my asking price was fairly comparable to the new price. Accordingly (and because there hasn't been any interest expressed yet) I'm lowering the price. Thanks for looking.

How does it perform through harder produce like carrots, squash etc? Any wedging?

Since you asked-
You presented the knife with dimensions, a price, and photos. That was done correctly. (Me personally, I prefer all photos shot squarely so I can clearly see the actual profile, along with how the spine looks, without the effects of perspective taking place. But I can always request a an additional photo.) As far as price, it is up to you to set, or drop as you feel fit.
A custom handle always costs more than a standard ho wood handle, so a price should not be compared equally between the two.
As far as you were gifted the knife, that is absolutely no one's business. I suggest not to do that again.
Best wishes on your sale.
D.
