I impulse bought this off amazon for like $198 + interest on a 12 month financing plan, for like $215 total or something. Finally got around to test cutting yesterday and the profile doesn't quite work for me. Similar to the issue I had with the Sugimoto 6 which I'll also sell at some point.* I appear to have really specific preferences for profile in a cleaver because the sugimotos are widely enjoyed by others
That said, the grind feels nice and aggressive, especially with the weight and blade-forward balance.
Cut just a few veggies for a salad. Minor patina development from the moisture.
Dimensions per manufacturer are 220x95. For weight my kitchen scale says 351g.
Asking $185 shipped and insured, CONUS, PP G&S only. I eat the fee. I got a good deal from His Majesty the Bezos Overlord and I want to pass it along to someone who will enjoy this knife more.
