Incredibly high contrast

I’m not sure I should be selling this one, but I’ve purchased so many stones at once. I’ve been looking for some good akapin for over two years now, and all of a sudden I found so many at one time I purchased two 😂.

This stone is very fast and easy to use, effortless kasumi of course. What really amazed me was the feel and speed of the stone, it really feels great to use and seems as fast as a ceramic stone if that’s even possible.

This akapin seems very fine which again is surprising around 4k+ depending on how it’s used. Right before something like Maruoyama shirosuita.

A very interesting stone, I wanted to post again to better demonstrate what akapin does differently.

The cutting action is very strong and I think it’s well represented in the wrought iron, but it’s interesting that the steel looks so clear and the blade is so reflective.

The stone is also incredibly acidic and wanted to oxidize the wrought iron quickly so I increased the amount of baking soda used.

I think these three attributes are what is creating such high contrast.
