Hi KKF, posting this one on it's own thread for obvious reasons.

I (very) recently acquired this from @nhb22 as part of a group buy. However, I was lucky enough to buy two Takadas within a couple days, and as much as I tried justifying keeping both, it just doesn't make sense in my position. This one also comes with the unfortunate side-effect of me feeling too guilty to I use it, so as much as I'll probably regret it, I'm letting it go. Knife is in the exact same condition I received it... never even cut paper with it; just stared at it a few times to admire it ☺️.

  • Asking is $1200 shipped ConUS. International, shoot me a PM and we'll talk.
  • Will give priority (and a discount!) to anyone who also buys either the Kurosaki or the Yoshimi Kato from my other thread.
  • I'm also open to trades on this, but my wants list is very short:
    • Yanick 230-240ish Gyuto w/ maybe some cash either way depending on condition
    • Birgersson 230-240ish Gyuto w/ cash my way
    • Recent B1/BS 240 Kono FM w/ cash my way
    • Ginsan 240 Takada Suiboku w/ cash my way

(The orange spot on the edge under the maker's mark is not rust, looks a lot more orange in pictures for some reason, but is very light and obviously patina in person.)

Yeah not much you can get when the spine is like 1.8 to 2mm...but pretty sure mine goes from 2mm to like .8 before the tip. If you really want specifics I can measure mine let me know
