Last but not least, a small takeda gyuto. I am the second owner (first owner said he did a light thinning) and bought this because I thought it was 7mm taller than my old takeda. Turns out I'm an idiot and somehow measured the wrong height on my old takeda or recorded the wrong height of my old takeda because they're the exact same height. This one has a kurouchi finish imperfection that's solely visual since it's smooth. Also worth mentioning is that there's some spine taper which isn't present on my old one.

221 x 66 mm

asking $330 shipped CONUS

Is that a low spot on the edge on IMG_0036 or it is just a reflection? Was some acrylic used to seal the handle at the tang or that is the original sealant? Thanks!

not a low spot in IMG_0036, just a reflection. I have to be more mindful about reflections in my pics because I shared a pic of a different knife and there was an orange reflection that someone thought was rust. And that's the original sealant / epoxy
