Hey folks, this is a fun little knife for sale. It's an old stock Takeda AS, iron clad, in 180mm size. Estimated 2011 vintage or ~13 years old - older ones in this nice of condition are hard to find. K-tip/bunka and sort of rides the fence between a good nakiri profile and a nice flat gyuto. Super fun to use. This has the thicker neck and spine and not as light nor as flexible as the current NAS/stainless clad, or even the last batches of AS/iron clad. This includes a TownCutler leather saya as a nice addition. I picked this up on KKF used myself, but in great shape. I then took it to the stones and put a nice kasumi finish on it, brought the bevels up a little, and it really handles nicely now.
