I have a pretty sweet blade for sale that sadly needs to move on to the next person. I was fortunate enough to grab something I’ve always been looking for so as a result I need to move this.

What we have here is a Hitohira Tanaka x Kyuzo 240 Super Blue Gyuto. I picked this up from Ai&Om not too long ago and it’s been a pleasure to use.. fit and finish is top notch like usual from Hitohira. The combination of Tanaka super blue and the wide bevel from Kyuzo makes this knife an absolute destroyer with great edge retention. Knife has a decent patina from use which I usually prefer to keep as it’s added protection.. also includes original saya.

Funny that you say that… 48mm to me still feels like a tall blade

But with that being said this knife is perfect dimensions for me. Wouldn’t be too upset if this one didn’t sell and I just HAD to keep it lmao

Appreciate the kind words! It really is a special knife. Also couldn’t agree with you more about that the dimensions of it are spot on for me as well.

I could be wrong but I feel like I’ve only seen two other blades offered in Super Blue by Tanaka x Kyuzo.
