Up for sale is my tf denka. 214mm on the edge, 50mm tall at heel, about 3mm thick at heel, 194 gr. This is an older one, most of the kurouchi is gone. Ive had it for some years now, but Im not the original owner. I use it now and then, great cutter, amazing steel. This is the red handled variant. Clean blade road, ready to go.
Would like 450 for this one, shipped conus and paypaled.

Thanks,
Ivan

Please enlighten me re masters mark?

My mistake. The last kanji mark was not in line and I thought it was a sixth stamp. I read somewhere that a the sixth symbol you sometimes see is rumored to mean that TF forged the knife himself. I don’t know if this is true, I’m am no expert on such things but read it on here somewhere and not terribly long ago.

I think this was the post you were referencing - https://www.kitchenknifeforums.com/threads/225-tf-maboroshi-cou-tou-190mm-gyuto.71706/#post-1112734

Part of lauded TF folklore and completely untrue. Adding the tou cou stamp was purely a marketing ploy. But don't worry we have all fallen for it. I have 2 Denka with the mark thinking they were 'annointed' with pearls.
