Kind of a weird sell but I spent far too much on a trip recently and hoping to get some funds back. Here’s a TNH Ginsan HH that I got for 400$ shipping included, which I spent hours experimenting on to try and replicate a Suiboku finish. I think it’s 80% there but it’s still not perfect. Has some stray scratches and uneven etching. I’ve tried to include pics of some. It includes a really nice museum fit rosewood handle from @Loong Workz which I’m sad to be losing but I feel it’s such a nice fit.

Specs: 230x50x3mm

Selling for 425$ shipped CONUS

Since a few people have reached out regarding the process, I'll just dump what worked for me in case any of your poor souls want to give it a shot!

- I basically polished up to 2000 grit with sandpaper, and then up to ~5000grit with diamond paste
- Etched in 1:8-10 muriatic to water for 20-30 minutes per cycle, basically until the core steel turns black and the cladding becomes frosty gray and spotty
- Sand with 2000 and back up to 5000/14000 with diamond paset after
- Repeat steps two and three for 4-5x or until etching pattern is consistent enough for your liking

Best of luck!
