Hey KKF!
I have for sale today a lovely Togashi western handle Honyaki of the White #2 variety. I got this knife not too long ago from a buddy here on the forum. Simply letting it go because I have my eyes on something else and one must go before another one comes in.
This is a full tang western construction, the ironwood handle “coke bottle” with mosaic pins was made by Sadao Nishihara.. an absolute legend.
The finish of this knife has a “working patina” and it’s very very stable. I can polish it if the buyer requests however the banding of the steel really shines through especially with the patina. It has been sharpened once by me, just to keep up with the use.. it came to me sharp and I wanted to keep it sharp.
Knife Specs:
Blade length: 241mm
Blade height: 49mm
Weight: 248g
Thickness of spine at the heel: 2.4mm
(Comes with a kiri box)
looking to get $1099 for this one, shipped to your door CONUS. International buyers let’s have a chat if you’re interested.
