Hi friends
I would like to sell my shiro suita. The stone has admittedly a ton of lines that is clear for anyone to see. That said it’s a very good polisher and edge finisher. Nice size and hardness right around level 4 imo. I find the stone quite easy to use and I made no attempt to avoid any of the lines. The stone is sealed with cashew lacquer.
I used this stone to polish a nakiri that came straight off a coarse gritty Thai binsui that I also have listed. No other stones at all.

how noticeable are the lines through the stone when in use? do they catch the knife?

They don’t catch the knife while polishing. You can feel some of them with a fingernail though. Not the cleanest surface but I’ve never found it problematic and I’ve used this stone a lot over the last few years.
