I'm trying to figure out the age of this yanagiba. It kinda looks a little bit older, but could be fairly recent as well. I haven't been able to find a similar one anywhere on the Internet yet. Despite all the gunk the blade seems to be surprisingly intact. The engraving looks more hand made than on another one from the same maker that I worked on recently. Any ideas? My guess is it's from past 20 years tops.
