Today I’m looking to move my watanabe 270mm stainless clad suji and takamura hsps 150 petty.
The wat is still in really close to new condition. Very dangerous thin grind that might not be evident in choil shot, very symmetrical that also may not be evident in choil shot. I was fooled, thought it was lefty but it’s very 50/50 ish.
I had it rehandled w octagonal bog oak octagonal-Which I love. Asking $420 shipped.
I can weigh it when I get home but this is a light one, doubt it’s more than 150 grams.
Takamura has seen quite a few sharpenings and thinning sessions. Thinning scratches remain, still thin and lasery in use. Comes w saya although I can’t find the pin. @daveb prob lost it even though he’s never used it. I had to fix a minor tip chip at one point as well.
Retails $215 new, how about $120 shipped?
Thanks
