Nakayama koppa of imanishi origin. Softest, thirstiest stone I’ve ever used. Unbelievably soft. Haven’t done much testing on it, seems on the low end of finisher but not the cleanest. Also not the fastest, can’t really tell because it feels like they’re more mud than swarf. There’s vertical lines on the sides I haven’t lapped out, still needs to be fully flattened.
I do trust the source, but everything about this stone seems different from the typical $$$$$ nakayama kiita.
Sealed in spray lacquer and hot glued to a sealed pine base. Easily removed.
I don’t know, it’s no endgame stone hiding in a koppa that’s for sure, but if anyone wants to try something strange off the beaten path, $100 USD. I’ll spot the first $15 shipping.
Oh yeah, that pink blush is kinda cute.
