Got 2 nice knives up for sale to fund a wh I got to try that just fits me a little bit better…. Love both of them but the knife I have my eye on edges them both out for a few small reasons.

Kemadi bulat mono 270x52mm 309 grams. This was a knife I wasn’t expecting to let go of. Drops through stuff quite well. Thin grind with the tough and long edge listings of bulat is hard to beat. Profile is quite universal as well. Only sharpened once by me and just stropping as well. Comes with saya. 350 shipped

Hatsukokoro Yoake blue 1 255x55mm 260 grams. Only used 4-5 times and never sharpened. Actually really like this more than I thought I would. Ground very thin at the edge, takes a beautiful patina, and overall does a great job at just about anything. Seems to have a lot less wabi sabi than a lot of examples I’ve seen. Almost feels like it comes to a dead stop in a push cut. But actually has a bit of relief at the heel. Comes with the felt lined edge guard. 210 shipped

You forgot the price for the Hatsukokoro Yoake. Also, that Kemadi really does look great. Too bad it's way too long for me

That's a steal on that Yoake. Just got mine, and rarely have I seen a knife executed this well at that price point. And it cuts remarkably well for one with such a fat ass!
It’s a TON of knife for the money. Nice weight, excellent taper, and a really thin grind? I’ll miss it… but the knife in replacing these 2 for is just a few steps ahead of them both. It was a tough call for me honestly
