title explains. I need a flattening plate as I have slightly dished my NP 3000, and my naniwa stone doesn't seem to flatten it out (smaller than the stone itself)
Not atoma, and no doubt not as good, but I got one of these from Amazon and it has been great for flatting stones. It's longer than the stone which means it sits nice and flat, and is easy enough to hand hold.
