Because some Japanese can do my work a lot better than I can.

This little demo display is an example- I know HOW those shells, stars and devices are made but can't even come close to the level of precision and design aesthetics shown here.

(Edit) Go to 2:50, set playback speed to .25 of normal and watch the degree of synchronization in star color changes on the next 3 shells... I am gobsmacked.



(Although I DID visit a few cutlery stores while I was there too)

We have licenses in US to manufacture and import explosives.

We were trained and have some experience making display fireworks and other pyrotechnics but in USA, we can't really compete with the Chinese manufacturers prices on most outdoor display fireworks so we mostly import rather than manufacture here.

What we primarily do is use them...
