This piece of Ohira Uchigumori performs just what you would expect from an uchi. Great cut, easy going, smooth and clean even Kasumi. Some water lines flow across the surface, not so harmful but grips the edge a little when there's no slur. Decent size around 1300g.

Not an expert but can tell it's leaning towards the softer side of an uchi, around 3.5 to 4 compared to stones I have with known hardness. In other words a hato stone

I'm thinking about prioritizing trading for an NSK Oboro 400, condition dosen’t matter much.

Putting trade value at 380 sell value at 420 shipping included conus

The hira is polished with the uchi, not the kireha. Shirogami 1 honyaki steel

Bump, also considering trading for any nsk oboro series under 1000 (200,400,800) grit
Feel free to make offers and ask questions

Some edge put on it with the uchi and some more polish vid. Didn't spend much time on it, jumped from shapton 1500 straight.

Still looking for a nsk coarse stone
