Hey KKF,

I recently picked up a stellar Xerxes user friendly gyuto from BST but it has turned out to be too similar to the one I already have (same steel, similar grind just a bit shorter). I would love to work out a deal for a Xerxes workhorse (230 mm +).

Here is the link to the Xerxes Im willing to trade but I can do a cash deal as well.

Trade value: $1100

Edit: I was able to make a straight cash deal for a Xerxes workhorse so I am changing this to a sale thread!

Details are below. Just a few notes about this knife. The user friendly grind may be the best middle of the road grind imho (i currently have one in larger size). Performance cannot be overstated. This knife has a 5mm thick spine out at the handle and 4.6 mm at the heel. Super comfortable in hand and is wonderfully balanced for such a large knife.

Asking $1050 shipped Conus (international DM)
edit: $950 shipped conus!

Size: 280 x 60 mm
Weight: 285 grams
Steel: 145Cr6 - 1.2063
Finish: Polished
Handle: Hornbeam
Geometry: User friendly
Condition: Like new

Thanks for looking!

It's a beaut for sure. While this one is a different grind, it looks pretty damn good to me. That profile looks awesome...

Update:
Now I can't stop looking at it.
Now I can’t stop thinking how good this would look next to your Xerxes and big Kamon gyuto….

Oh man i would instantly buy it, but with shipping and the damn customs it will be more like new i guess... so sad. Would be very stupid to reinport a knife ,,,

Yes German customs hates up but anything claimed under €150 including shipping isn't too bad. A friend told me as i would never claim anything lower than it's value 😉

Congrats on sell😅 surprised it lastet this long! I almost jumped on it, just because it was to good of deal…. Guess I’ll have money for food😂 unless you have some more Fujiyama’s you wanna pass on😂
